Why our education...
Haus of Vakai Education is built on real salon experience, led by a team that lives and breathes the industry every day. At the centre of it is Kaine Vakai, known for his innovative approach to colour and extensions and for delivering education across the world. Alongside him is his husband Ayden Vakai, who brings the business lens, helping stylists understand how to turn their skills into a profitable, sustainable career. Another leader in the education experience is Emma, the salons manager and Master Colourist. Emma is know for her signature Grey Blending techniques, helping women of all ages into embracing their natural beauty.
The team is rounded out by Grace and Taylor, who bring fresh, on the floor perspectives and real client work into the education space. Grace is taking lead alongside Kaine in the extension education space, she has become well established in her role as the salons extension specialist.
What makes Haus of Vakai different is that nothing is created just for show. Every technique, system, and approach is tested daily in a busy salon environment, with real clients and real expectations. We will break down the steps of the colour service from start to finish through model demonstration. We start with consultations and work our way down the line through foiling techniques including clever placement of foil work, not to cut corners, but to work smarter to create the desired look for your client keeping condition in mind. Our industry is forever changing and with new trends/looks we discuss different ways we can approach selecting our colours with visual colouring. Glossing (toning) is such a key part of the colour service today and with this we need to be able to adapt to the individual and their desired look. We cover what and when to use certain techniques to achieve the best result and longevity for our clients. In Lite Social media we touch on how we take the ‘insta shot’ and get your team to come up and take our reels with us. If wanted, Ayden will offer a brief overview of our business structure everything from social media scheduling to budgeting and all that falls between, answering any questions you have.

Here we adapt all the elements of package 1’s look & Learn but take you through a demonstration on how Kaine installs his Kaine Vakai X Jadore (Hadrill Hair) 7cm tape range. He will take you through a condensed version of his Haus of Extensions education workshop, demonstrating customs colour blending/selection, application, cutting & styling for a seamless blend.
