Kaine Vakai, Director of Haus of Vakai, is a hairstylist and educator known for his ability to create beautiful natural but impactful hair through his lived in hair approach to colour and extensions.
Starting his career at 14, Kaine has spent years refining his craft behind the chair, building a reputation for creating hair that feels effortless, grows out with longevity, and suits each individual client. His work is centred around thoughtful placement wth visual colouring, and has excitement working with clients to achieve dramatic changes even in the corrective space.
Alongside his salon work, Kaine has educated across Australia, the UK, Europe, the US, and New Zealand, sharing his approach with stylists through hands-on classes, industry events, and collaborative workshops. Having delivered over 150 classes globally, his focus has always been on simplifying techniques and giving stylists practical systems they can actually use behind the chair.
He is also the creator of the 7cm Tape Weft Method, a refined extension technique designed to create a seamless, natural result while making the process more efficient for both stylist and client.
